  Feasibility assessment and preliminary project development for application of Combined Heat & Power (CHP).

  1. Emissions Characterization of Reciprocating Engines Using Renewable Biodiesel Fuel Optimization; Per EPA testing protocols, Nitrous Oxides (NOx) emissions resulting from the use of various bio-diesel fuel blends in stationary grid-connected reciprocating engine applications.
  2. CHP Emissions Assessment in Houston Galveston Brazoria (HGB) Non-Attainment Zone; Combined Heat & Power potential and emissions impact assessment in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities in the ERCOT power market.
  3. Market Opportunities for CHP in Texas Agriculture; Characterization of the technical and economic potential for combined heat and power (CHP) systems using bio-fuels in Texas agricultural sector including; generating a Texas-wide Biomass-to-useable Bio-fuel inventory, analysis of thermal loads in the agriculture sector, and assessment of power potential from use of biofuels.
  4. Study by American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) "Potential for Energy Efficiency, Demand Response and On-site Renewable Energy to Meet Texas's Growing Electricity Demands", February 2007. Responsibilities included technical review of analysis and assumptions, project analysis and modeling, assessment of CHP emissions impact, report component review and feedback.

  CHP Feasibility Studies: supported multiple feasibility assessments for application of Combined Heat & Power (CHP) by providing technical review and consultation.
   
University of Maryland, Trigen-Cinergy Venture
  Participated in the engineering, development, and analysis of the 26 MW Combined Heat & Power (CHP) Plant with 6400 tons chilled water, dual electric and steam generated equipment.

  Participated in the engineering, development, and analysis of the 2.2 MW Combined Heat & Power (CHP) Plant.
