Energy and Risk Assessment
Bocci performed an energy and risk assessment for their 20-year-old combined heat and power (CHP) system. The study involved engineering and economic life cycle cost estimating for upgrading the existing 5 mW CHP and heater recovery steam generator (HRSG), right sizing and replacing the CHP system, improving paralleling capability, and updating automation and controls. It also included an integrated risk review of environmental, electrical interconnect, power back-up, and energy procurement impacts.
As Principal in Charge, Bocci led the development of full economic EPC cost estimates, corresponding NPV forecasts, and a series of client-focused sensitivities integrated into their production forecast.
