Senior Power Expert & Electrical Engineer
Mr. Mathenia is a senior electrical engineer with more than 30 years of experience in project electrical engineering with facility projects using NEC and IEC designs both domestic and international including power systems, generation and controls. Keith’s technical responsibilities include engineering design, load calculations, generator sizing, drawing preparations, spec writing, SKM & ETAP fault current and coordination studies, Failure root cause analysis, equipment procurement, code compliance and construction cost estimates, value engineering, HSE, field investigation and FAT’s. Familiar with IEEE, IEC, ATEX, NEMA, NFPA, API, ABS, CFR’s, BSEE, USCG and UL codes and standards.
Keith’s technical responsibilities include engineering design, load calculations, motor control panels, switch gear, and distribution system, generator sizing, as well as high voltage utility interconnect and substation systems, SKM & ETAP fault current and coordination studies, arc flash studies, power quality and harmonics, equipment procurement, code compliance and construction cost estimates, drawing preparations, and spec writing. Keith has supported several facility and utility infrastructure projects for UTMB, Velcro, P66, HCC, HISD, and Shell.
